JoJo Confronts Jordan | The Bachelorette

On their last date before proposals, JoJo confronts Jordan about not asking for her father’s blessing to propose. She tells Jordan she’s disappointed and upset that he failed to ask because it makes her doubt if Jordan is ready for marriage. Jordan reaffirms he’s ready for marriage, but then reveals he didn’t ask because he’s not sure if its him at end of this since there’s still another man (Robby) in JoJo’s life and only wants to ask for her father’s blessing if she was certain that’s what she wanted from him. With time running out, this leaves JoJo more scared than ever.

I totally understand where Jordan is coming from though. It’s such a bizarre situation (being essentially a tv love game show) to expect him to ask her dad for his blessing to marry her. Did she also expect that of the other dude? I don't know with her. But from where I'm standing, I hear "I will propose to you ONCE YOU HAVE CHOSEN ME. and ONLY me. Not "probably you" or "probably Robbie" It is only FAIR to ask that commitment before he asks your father's blessing. It is kinda hard for me to understand How Jojo is scared. She HAS the FINAL decision. She can DUMP Robbie if she wants to. And Jordan DID SAY that he WOULD ask the father's blessing ONCE HE CONFIRMS that he is THE FIANCE. It is not an unreasonable thing to ask. When you buy a phone, you WANT TO GET THE PHONE right away. Not a promise that you will get it eventually.
