@botosbinted Idk man. Only like a 1/4th of those were halfway decent or actually good like The Warriors. Games nowadays with their own premises can barely keep up. I can't imagine them trying to go off already built stories in this day and age without messing something up or it feeling too restricted.

I kinda think there should be a game that takes place between the first and second. Like going around the city and spreading influence in certain areas in Gotham, making deals or even taking out other criminals to gain more respect and followers, small mini games that involve how to take out a person in public in the most clownish way by choosing the right items and quick time events. I can keep going if anyone would like me to.

My idea of a game: Singleplayer: be a crimelord in gotham, rocksteady style. With a tiny strategy to it to help you manage turf in gotham and run scemes and business to earn your gang credits for upgrades. Multiplayer version: 1-4 crimelords sceme against each others to earn more credits, get more and better manpower for gangs and turf. 1-2 heroes of gotham players (batman, robin) fighting crime and arresting crimelords (Maybe) officer Gordon his police force stalling crimelords to "assist" heroes

Not really, comparing a concept to a product is apples and oranges. Knowing how to render a scene has little to do with game design & mechanics, hardware optimization, story writing, and animation

The hair goes a bit more Keanu Reeves than Joaquin toward the end there, but otherwise I'd say the animation and model is pretty well done.

The Unreal Engine 1970s NY set with the "Travis Electronics" store couldn't have been a better setting, considering Taxi Driver is Joker's main inspiration. Good job!

I don't even know how this would work as a game, since the film is pretty much entirely character psych driven. Unless it was a Telltale type affair, but that'd be quite dull, as any performance would be unlikely to match with Phoenix' charisma, which again is the driving force in what makes that film so good. What would Arthur Fleck do in an open world game? Emote in front of a mirror? Shoot the wall in his apartment and apologise to his mother? He doesn't really have any enemies in the film, aside from society in general, and Murraaaaay, and his own mind. But not like an actual enemy, like Batman, etc. But then Arthur v Batman is moving away from the territory of the Joker movie. Again, maybe a linear mission experience might work. But open world? Nah. Looks gorgeous in this video though. Well done on that! Anyone have any ideas on what an Arthur Fleck/Joker open world experience would look like?
