James Gunn has 3 very solid MCU films and one of the few good DCEU movies, and a great spinoff show. He has a good track record, so I am definitely looking forward to Superman

@@96mryomamaI just checked in my local area at AMC and for 1 adult ticket it’s $17.99, says two tickets is 40.36 after fees. Then you have the concessions. Nowadays, IF I do go with my wife, we never get out cheaper than $60-$100. So very glad I saved my money too. Also, there is a very surprising amount of open seats for a 9 PM showing during opening weekend. I mean JFC, the first one made a billion dollars.

Bothers me that so many people just know Brendan Gleeson as "Mad Eye Moody" lol. He's been in a ton of good stuff, but if you haven't yet watched In Bruges - stop everything and watch that first. He's absolutely hilarious in The Guard also, though I'm curious how the humour translates for international audiences. Also a very different kind of performance in Banshees of Inisherin, but fantastic by him again

I can see why comic book people that expected "The Joker" to go all out. It was never going to be that, and it was never going to connect to the DCU that WB is creating. Watch it for what it is

Being a singer, this movie was so amazing. Joaquin has always been an amazing and emotional singer ever since the movie walk the line. Also, so many songs in this movie had such a deep, personal connection with my wife and I (she and I went to go see it) it almost felt like this movie was made for us. We even named our 4 year old son Joaquin because of how much we love this guy. We went to go see it at the metreon in SF in IMAX 70mm AND IT WAS AMAZING!

I enjoyed the court room parts, musical parts weren't interesting. I thought the singing was in place of him not being able to journal since he is in Arkham. It's a lot of an illusion anyway. Nice to see two actors from the show Industry in this movie (Harry Lawtey & Ken Leung).

Joker 2 is probably gonna end up like Star Wars: The Last Jedi in a couple of years when people reevaluate it. I don't think either are good movies. They both try to subvert audience expectations which is commendable but the execution ends up being INCREDIBLY sloppy and unsatisfying. I know what both films were going for and I respect the heck out of them in that regard, but they both fumbled it hard by doing stupid and unnecessary things that muddle what they were trying to do.
