I would have uploaded this yesterday, but I realised I really didn't like the ending to the first version I made. So I had to edit it. Here's the better version.
The song is Face Down by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.
The story to this video is simple. Harley tries to fool herself into thinking that The Joker only hit her because she deserved it and he had his reasons for doing so, therefore she continues to love him. He tells her that he loves her back but he only does it to get her to do things he wants her to do. She tells herself that he wouldn't hit her again, unless she disobeyed him. Because she thinks that The Joker's still angry with her, she attempts to seduce him. The Joker is uninterested with the notion and walks away from her nonchalantly, obviously making Harley feel even more upset.
When The Joker hits Harley again, for no other reason but to take his anger out on someone, she realises that she can't continue living this way. The manipulation, tormenting and hitting gets to her and she threatens to leave him. The Joker merely chuckles not believing her and taunts her by saying that she'd come crawling back again. She then leaves him, sick of being patronised and sick of the way he treats her.
When Harley doesn't return like she normally did, even after hours of waiting, The Joker becomes worried and even more angry from his current predicament.

Hats off to you! I'm so impressed by your choice of music and the editing. It fits the music perfectly and captures the dark side of Joker & Harley's relationship. The choice of clips was so intense and heartwrenching at the same time. Though I don't like seeing Joker being aggressive to Harley nor do I want Harley to walk away from him, I have to say this video is fantastic! Really, great job! Wow. :) This song definitely fits Joker and Harley. And as a matter of fact, I remember seeing a picture of Harley from the episode Mad Love from Season 2 of The New Batman Adventures on the DCU Animated Wikia (dcanimated.wikia.com), and the caption underneath the picture said, “The epitome of the battered wife syndrome”. Of course, that definitely *does* describe Harley (although she is the girlfriend/henchwoman of the Joker, and is not married to him). No matter how many times the Joker kicks Harley out, she usually comes back to him. Case in point: at the end of Mad Love, Harley makes up her mind to put all the craziness behind her and turn over the proverbial new leaf, having finally seen the Joker for what he really is. But all it takes is a rose and a get-well card from him, and she falls in love with him all over again.

my favourite moment between these two was in the comics when Harley went to break her new boyfriend out of jail and joker was there. so she went to talk to him and ended up BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF HIM! FUCK YEAH! (Harley and Poison Ivy for the win btw)
