Dude, in Mumbai if you take a cab/rickshaw always go by meter, that's the basic rule here. If you ask them how much they will tell you double/triple fare.

Definitely! I’m travelling to Both cities quite often now and mumbai has improved over the last 10 years. Bangalore is just crazy! All the construction and dust and narrow roads and traffic. I lived in banagalore for 10 years until 2002 and when I went back in 2014 I was shocked at what the city had become. They took a beautiful laid back city and destroyed it in making it silicon valley of India. Definitely city wasn’t built to handle this much population

@@ziggy3259 don't think so... Uber drivers cancel rides all the time. I think his Uber driver cancelled the long drive. Cab drivers charge more money because you don't have to wait for 15-20 minutes for Uber and they don't get passengers more frequently. But I totally support sharing economies like AirBNB/Uber.

There is Chembur Festival today and for a few days visit there its a street filled with shopping handmade things showpieces to foodstalls by the people who live there. Just a place with crowd, walking and seeing the stalls and probably has good decorated streets to look at. This happens once in a year in February.

we have 2 type of faluda dish, one involves kulfi (indian ice cream) or rabri or mawa/khoya, and one involves cold milk and some other things. We have another sweet dish which involves faluda like ingrediant : siwai/simai/siwainya

I just got back from my first time in Mumbai. Stayed near Grant Rd. What a difference from Delhi eh? I must’ve been to Delhi more than ten times but I was in Mumbai less than an hour before completely falling in love with the place. I was only there three days before catching a flight home to Heathrow. Cannot *wait* to get back. I’m thinking two weeks in September.

When in Mumbai don't bargain with the black and yellow taxi drivers just say "meter se chaloge"(charge according to the meter reading) and if they don't agree then go else find someother cab who will take you..they are supposed to do it by law and you can even say I'll complain to the traffic police and take a picture of their no. Plate.. by meter it would have been probably 250 at the most.

I have lived in Delhi and Mumbai both, both the cities have their own issues, but being a neutral person, I would say Delhi is full of scammers and cold hearted people. Mumbai is much more friendly and people are more professional. Delhi btw don't represent whole of India. Mumbai beats delhi in almost all the aspects and after multiple metro lines Mumbai will be as good as delhi in transportation in next 5-10 years.

I have never lived in Mumbai but I have lived in Delhi for 8 years and I agree about people being cold hearted. Delhi is an extremely hostile city. It's even worse for women.
