Yes, it is interesting to hear his statement. It's true Jokowi hasn't reveal his plan yet, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have one. Most of the time we would get that information from presidential debate, but we should wait for that. Because i think, we should focus on legislative candidate first. After all, choosing people representatives in the government is also a big deal.

I'm truly skeptical, he is an instant favorite because he started a new fad, as a leader who is continuously going around town mingles with people to oversee various projects with his own eyes, it might give him some edge in getting sympathy, a great feature as a major of a city, already not so great as a governor of a capital city, definitely not a required quality from a president of a archipelagic country this vast and complex, it would be interesting to witness how he would tackle much bigger yet more abstract issues brought to him assuming he would be the next president. I could see he would micromanages things he could see directly, and do nothing or very little about things he couldn't see or understand completely. I hope I'm wrong

Congratulations, Mr President-elect! I guess I'll have to call you Mr President come October 20th. Still, am I glad to say I and my immediate family voted for you. This election has been the most divisive in Indonesia's young democratic history. The smear campaigns launched by your opponents were vicious. I know that there's plenty of religious leaders in West Java and Banten who have sold their souls to the devil for political power, ordering their flock to vote for Prabowo. But alas, Indonesia has shown that it can rise above petty differences, it can rise above issues of identity, race and religion and choose someone who can truly represent the people. We have a tough job ahead and I trust that you will carry out the mandate of the people and not disappoint those that have voted for you, and convince those who didn't vote for you that you are the man for the job as you've done in Solo and Jakarta.
