- I am from Germany, born and raised. A couple of years ago I relocated to Australia and been living there ever since.
Can you understand Urdu and Hindi?
- I sadly can’t understand both languages fully, neither can I speak them. However I am able to understand a few words and certain phrases.
Why haven’t you reacted to my recommendation yet?
- Every day I receive countless recommendations from you guys, which I am grateful for. I am trying to read all the comments but it does happen that I miss some out. The main factor is probably my working schedule which doesn’t allow me to film videos daily. Most weeks I can only find a couple of hours in the afternoon to film 2-3 videos. Of course I’d love to film more and film all of your recommendations, however I’m trying to stick with 1 or 2 uploaded videos a week. Quality over quantity.

The song is half in Pashto. Pashto is spoken among the Pathans of the Khyber Pakhtunwa region of Pakistan, which borders Afghanistan. In the intro of the song, you saw things that were more akin to Central Asia's Turkic tribes and, Afghanistan than Punjab, Sindh and the Indian subcontinent.

Pashtuns/Pakhtuns* is the correct word. Pathan is a Hindi word and should not be used, especially in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

This song encompasses multiple aspects of the Pashtun belt, transcending multiple countries and regions, from Pakistan North to Afghanistan, Iran, and Upper Eastern Europe. They mostly had been warriors and conquerors for centuries and, like Mongols, came down south and settled. One of the most hard-working, culturally vibrant, and friendly demographics of Pakistan. They were vital in stopping the Russian onslaught via Afghanistan. However, Pashtuns are misunderstood by most and victims of cultural misinterpretations. They are overly simplistic in expressing their emotions as friends and foes. You'll love it if you ever get to meet and be their guest.

Rehma is a Pakistani American R&B artist from LA. She had to learn the lines in Pashto because she does not speak it but she killed it. Gulay means sweetheart, my love or in this case I think "soulmate". The scenes are from KPK not Balochistan.
