I'm a woman and I couldnt go anywhere near those notes. He does that whole Terrence Trent Darby thing. I LOVED TTD and love Jolan. Wonder what happened to him..

From got no chair turns in Season 3, to be the runner up in Season 5, i think Jolan did and excellent job, he gave his best in EVERY performance (can't say the same about Kevin, sorry), i'm pretty sure he will have a succesful career

I thought Kevin was hit and miss, he needed to be on Will's team, that might have sorted him out, pushed him to think more outside of the box, change things up a bit, do something a little different and be less old-fashioned, he was way too safe all of the time, it got a bit boring, I just kept comparing him to the better originals.

What a shame for Jolan! I loved this, and I really thought he was in with a chance against the strong favourite, but when Kevin sang the same song I knew right away Jolan was doomed to second place. This means no disrespect to Jolan, whose voice I love, but Kevin was destined to win from the start. At this point the show is no longer about the Voice, but the whole person. And Kevin was just the most personable on screen character of all the contestants - a bit like Stevie last year. I really hope to hear more from Jolan and I wish him all the best.

I'm absolutely disappointed.After Heather, Cody wasn't given a chance to win, so i thought and all of my friends were sure Jolan would be the one and only who have to win. Why? Because he has significantly improved during this season. Maybe he was a little bit static in what he was doing, but each performance gave us a certain bunch of emotions completed with good song choice. Each time it was a picth perfect, vocally he didn't do any mistakes, his breath control was also OK. I felt Ricky was disappointed because of the audience's choice. As Jolan didn't win this time, i think, due to his age, the 2nd place is not the reason to grown inwardly, so in any way he'll become successful if tries hard and continues doing what he really love.
