This is such a heartwarming video. The mascot, the symbol of the store's joy, actually fetching Lola Belen had a whole new meaning for me, the store wanting to bring their joy to an hardworking individual, a grandparent no less. Such a nice video. And what a warm reaction from the both of you. ;)

I love your sincere response to this sad reality in my country. However, this is a cruel publicity stunt by a Chinese-owned fastfood chain capitalizing on the economic situation of that poor woman and the easily naive grandchildren who were made to sit in front of a camera inside a Jollibee store. The financial assistance this food chain gave to that poor old woman was just mere scrap to to the TV airtime that this online endorsements would have to pay for it to be aired. That financial assistance was just one time, however, the shares and the likes of this corporate video would remain online years after that old lady has died and buried in an unmarked grave the Tan Caktiong (Jollibee owners) wouldn't even know where.
