Love this new tournament! Just a couple ideas I had after watching the first game for a possible second tournament..... There are 71 characters in the game, then add in a Mii for every person playing (Jolly, Zo, Jake, Etc.) plus an extra Mii to get an 80 player pool. Everyone gets their own Mii, then can draft their own unique team. Everyone will have 10 players, so you can have a bit of lineup flexibility, but still have your own personal and unique team. Draft order could be based off the results from this tournament and would allow everyone to build a team how they want after playing with the characters. Also possible trades in the draft and the tournament. Just some possibilities I thought of! Looking forward to the rest of the series and more content to come!

I have a lot of fun memories playing Mario Sluggers on the Wii with family and friends. Using the player chemistry system to rob homeruns or do laser beam throws was always amusing. I know most people say the gamecube baseball game is better (I like both), but I'll always cherish those moments with the Wii game.

I personally never tried the gamecube one but from what I hear it is a lot more competitive/mechanically challenging than the Wii one. Which I can see why people think it is more fun however I dislike seeing them compared as this one is easier to casually play not to mention the roster is much bigger which allows for a large variation of teams even if you stick to mostly meta teams.

The Baby DK throw was because players who are connected (idk what the game calls it) throw hard to each other and have a special homerun rob animation if they are next to each other in the outfield.

ewwwww random teams, no items and stars off. I know I am biased towards a certain ruleset for competitive play but this is interesting to say the least. Yoshi and baby dk 2 of my favs. It's a little captain heavy but without stars I think team 2 is better by just a slight amount. Glad that they are at least using nunchuck and remote. Also for the changeups that go above the screen to hit them you want to time your swing with the shadow of the ball. Baby dk is goated. the out at 7:28 was because dixie kong was sent to advance to second (which caused her to immediately be tagged out by king k rool) Also waluigi is the only character that does this but charging up his pitch actually makes it go slower, also when you charge up his swing it gives him better contact but weaker power. I enjoyed the game though, I understand that for newer players playing with most of the settings turned off makes sense but I would strongly recommend looking at all the controls at the very least.
