Ollie, as someone from North Carolina (the birthplace of Krispy Kreme), I would HIGHLY recommend trying the glazed donuts at a KK in the US when the "hot" sign is lit up! It is TRANSCENDENT!! It melts in your mouth!! Like, I cannot even begin to articulate how amazing it is. I've grown up with the boxes of donuts like you have here, I've even had them in the UK, and they're really good... but that hot/fresh version of the original is INSANE. Seriously. If you love this version, you'll have an out of body experience over the hot/fresh ones!

This is for Ollie. 😆 We know how much Ollie loves Krispy Kreme, but has either of you ever had them fresh baked and still warm. In Virginia Beach, Virginia, the Krispy Kreme shop makes them on site. As we drive by, we always look to see if the sign is lit up saying a fresh batch has been completed. If it is, we immediately turn into the drive through and get never less than a dozen. They literally melt in your mouth. Just the glaze. I don’t care about any of the other kind. Just the glaze. There’s no way you can smell them and drive without opening the box and having one or two. I live in Ohio now so I don’t have any fresh baked here. Whenever we go to VA Beach, Krispy Kreme is a must stop destination. As a Sri Lankan, looking at that cinnamon doughnut, I have to say that we have better looking (and clearly better tasting) doughnuts here 😂😂😂

That's what I was thinking 😂 you cant just dust cinnamon on a donut and expect it to taste good 😂

Ordered half dozen of OG and another half dozen assorted from Krispy Kream, convinced my family how long we didn’t eat doughnuts just to fix my crave after watching this vid

I freakin love Krispy Kreme Glazed Donuts!! Pro Tip: heat them in the microwave or oven for a little bit before eating; hot donuts are a level above (though it’s a little difficult to eat with your hands because they get even stickier).

In Tunisia they have fresh to order doughnuts made in a pan on the beach. Just incredible. Hot, crunch on outside, soft and fluffy inside, and just dipped in sugar after frying.

@@dickmonkey-king1271 one of the great things about Krispy Kreme is you can watch them being made, fried and glazed and order them straight out of the fryer basically. I've had many many donuts, fancy and not, and frankly a fresh Krispy Kreme is so hard to beat its like biting into a fried piece of air with a light glaze.

I just realized at 3:04 that those doughnuts in my country Malaysia. It's called bomboloni as the pronunciation is bomb-bo-lo-ni and we have it here very common. Most would sell it at RM2.00 per one (also depends on how much they put inside the doughnuts). Yeah, I'm just sharing cause I noticed it just now even though I already watched the video. lmao

Bread Ahead and St John are essentially the same doughnuts from my limited experience. Pretty sure they use the same recipe from Justin Gellatly who was the head baker for both places & owns Bread Ahead, always used to get the Vanilla when I was in central London although the prices are insane.

I just came from watching a Good Mythical Morning video. I've been watching both these channels for years and for some reason I never realised that they're kinda similar in content and the fact that theyre both a friends turned youtubers duo

I have a local donut shop that does some incredible donuts like the last one. My favorite from them are Creme Brulle, Strawberry Jam and Cream, and Butterscotch and Cream. The cream I find helps off set the sweetness of the jam and the butterscotch.

CC are the best when fresh, and preferably warm. Otherwise can be greasy. My fav is one they must not have in the UK, Winchell's. Just had a chocolate olde fashioned yesterday, and it was as fabulous as when I first had one in the 1960's. Simple and fabulous!
