Wow. 2016-2017 was a drastic improvement. 2017-2018...even better. 2018-2019....almost speechless at the production value of jomezpro...this is so good that I have nostalgia effects from years past...even 2015 the production had a positive effect on how much I enjoy the game. Wonderful

Simon, if you're having trouble sleeping, you need to establish a bedtime ritual. I think you should get yourself an electric kettle, a nice teapot, a really cool mug, and start having an herbal tea every night before you go to sleep. (My favorite thing for this is a rooibos blend that I found at a tea shop in Fort Collins. I could mail you some if you'd promise to share a few of your PD-throwing secrets.) My wife recently got a cast-iron teapot, and it's such a calming thing to go through the motions of making bedtime tea. I guarantee it would help you get better sleep-it almost kind of makes you look forward to the end of the day, because you get to spend this nice quiet time with yourself. Anywho, cheers to Eagle for being a good friend and trying to get all us disc golf fans to share our sleep tips!

Simon, if you're having trouble sleeping because your mind is racing or you just can't stop thinking try the "mySleepButton" app. I use it with one headphone and low volume. It seems ridiculous but it works.

Simon, make sure you are using Night Shift mode on your iPhone. Blue wavelength light stops the bodies natural production of melatonin, which helps your natural sleep cycle. If you have a mac, use f.lux on your computer too. It takes out all the blue wavelength light, looks a little funny at first but then you get used to it. I can put myself to sleep in under 5 minutes in most circumstances (lights on, noisy, uncomfortable temperature, sick, etc.). My secret? Breathing. Start with your mouth slightly open and breath making an obvious "h" sound, so like a drawn out "hhhhaaaaa". Maintain the "H" while breathing in and breathing out. The "H" sound should eminate from the back of your throat like a whisper. Breath long deep breaths this way for several respirations then close your mouth but maintain the shape and keep the "H" sound while breathing through your nose. This perfectly mimics your body's natural sleep breathing. Concentrate only on maintaining the breathing. Whilst suddenly being inundated with oxygen (a sign of safety), your brain will almost simultaneously be quickly deceived into thinking that the body is already asleep and it is running behind and will shut itself down into sleep mode to catch up. You'll wake up having no idea when you fell asleep because it will happen almost instantly. The brain will literally slam itself into sleep mode and the last thing you'll remember is how awake you thought you felt while you were concentrating on the breathing.

I vote to stop commentary done by active competing pro's, especially not ones competing on the card being featured. I think the reason why the majority of sports commentators are no longer active players is that that distance from the playing community allows them to speak more openly about the players in the field and the choices they make in the moment. Guys like Eagle and Simon have to play with the all people they are commenting on and that is going to affect their work. It turns into them mainly just talking about their own shots and goofing around with each other - which is all well and good, but sports commentary is about talking about all the players and adding a level of insightful criticism to the decisions made on the field. I think an impartial source is the way to go. Their must be some knowledgable men and women disc golfers out there who are also savvy with words that can call great rounds evenly, and maybe say the harder things that active players won't. I totally agree with your point but I think there's an unwritten commentary that comes out of guys that were actually out there on the field. They provide a perspective on the course that no other 'commentator' can provide. it's definitley a biased catch 22, but ultimately, i think folks that were actually out there will provide more 'in the weeds' insight per hole to the casual viewer. In the end, them or big sexy do an amazing job and i'm stoked that they add to the culture. Cheers!
