I watched this video probably 1-5 times a week in 2012 when I first started playing. Couldn't believe the skill. Who would have thought that I'd be a state champion after my first tournament as a pro in 2015, at 35 years old. And would be state champion the next 3 years. Then would start touring the next year. By the start of 2017 touring season, my disc golf dream came true. I was a touring pro, sponsored by Innova Champion Discs, Zuca carts, and Adidas Outdoor... By 2018 at 38 years old, I was 23rd in the world at 1018 rated. Won almost 30 tournaments out of about 120 played. Including a couple A tiers. Which Qualified me to play the USDGC, where I aced hole 17 in round 1. Had an amazing pro model stamp that I got on tons of Innova molds, which sold thousands all over the world. Got to be the Glass Blown Open Putting champion by beating out the best in the world. Including the final match where I beat the #1 putter on tour for the last 2-3 years in a row. I accomplished so much more with disc golf then I ever thought would be possible. All in my late 30s... Wish I coulda been 10-15 years younger. Instead of first throwing a disc at age 30. I am 100% confident I would have been top 5 in the world. Where's the time machine lol! Anyway, I feel very lucky to have experienced what I did. And it all started with watching this video over and over. Dreaming of playing this well, while playing with these guys. Which I got to do, and eventually beat each of them in tournaments at some point in my short career. Thank you for the inspiration Jomez. Partly thanks to you, I have all these amazing disc golf memories. ✌️🙂🤙

We just got Hornet's Nest back after a long wait, over a year. It has always been unique in many ways and the partial redesign has a water carry (in tournament play), a little more open area to bomb , and tons of fun lines to imagine. Jomez Productions has become the best in coverage for our sport and it is funny what only 5 years of learning the craft has given us. We have love for you in Charlotte guys, thanks for your dedication to our entertainment. BTW: the noise on hole two(7th played) is that a squeeky zoom? hilarious if so.
@4t1guitars11 жыл бұрын
Just randomly ran into Michael Johansen at Hornets nest today and played the front 9 with him and Paige Woodard. Michael is seriously legit. That sky roller he throws in this video over the road and past the trees is even more amazing in person. Proably the nicest guy I've ever played with. Got into the weeds and helped me look for a disc and everything.

You’re coverage of disc golf is top notch and you’re living the dream. Keep it up. You need to come do a final 9 in Odessa! West Texas represent! 👍🏼
