I absolutely love that we get to see this tournament finally.. however with the rights DGN has on delayed release and winner spoiled, I'm not exactly interested in watching as I usually do. I also have to add that I got into disc golf from watching interesting tournaments such as the USDGC and the European open. Now these are locked behind pay walls and probably now stiffling the growth of the sport... the exact opposite that DGN is going for. I know they want to grow the sport, but when it costs the same as Disney+ and lucky to have 480p, blocking access to popular tournaments, that's a very hard sell.

@@vijilant Oh that's a great point,, I used to play paintball in the 90s warpig games, etc.. When trying to watch recently, I was somewhat bait and switched by the pro coverage, however it was just one middle match and everything else is paywall locked. Really great for growing the sport there, basically catering to the pros and die hards watching. I really hope that doesn't happen here. KZbin disc golf is a great thing.

It's not even the paywall that's the problem. It's the poor production quality of that coverage while Jomez knocks it out for the park for free with post round coverage. I'd happily pay a bit for some quality coverage. But yeah... already know how this one ends. No real point to watch other than to support Jomez.

I am a bit sad that I won't be able to enjoy watching this after managing to keep away from the news about the winner of the tournament until Ledgestone round 1. I know, I know, I am a cheap cry baby. Would have just loved watching it without knowing. One idea that could be implemented quite easily would be to add spoiler alerts in the videos to quickly skip that part of the video. Other than that, keep up the good work, and thank you for the coverage!

Pretty sure they said on live coverage that the delay in Jomez coverage was due to unique media rights for the European Open that forced them to wait 10+ days to release coverage.

NVM the commentators are all hollow. You recorded it in a hall filter setting or a large room with one mice or something but you guys should not let this happen. Paul sounds better for some reason. unfortunate but honestly for me almost unwatchable. Audiophile here. Apologies just pointing out production errors that the team can benefit from being better. Love Jomez and have for years.

Audio is awful, like they were crammed in a 1m2 box. Add that to unacceptable delay and you get the worst Jomez vid to date. I take this as a sign of things to come. Wouldn't be surprised if they stopped providing next day coverage entirely in a couple of years. New startups will be blocked by the PDGA and DGN to protect the monopoly position of DGN.

Not a good strategy of this release imo. DGPT, if you want us to pay for the coverage, why not have Jomez produce it, and charge for that. At least that’s something I would watch, though I don’t think you are growing the sport that way. Less people will watch if they need to pay.
