2nd single from JON AND ROY's upcoming album 'Here' (out 03/01).
This song was inspired by that feeling of being lost or not knowing how to quell a hopeless feeling; it's a kind of cry out to helplessness. In this tune, it also refers more specifically to a relationship where the future is uncertain.
The song structure and style is definitely inspired by the late, great Otis Redding and Sam Cooke.

Lyrics
"Playing the part I don’t want you to play
In this life-time it goes
Now it seems maybe you’re not here to stay
I guess nobody knows
Where has my love gone?
Facing the past with my nose in this task
I’ve got a mansion to fill
All my days I’ve been wearing a mask
But my heart’s beating still
Where has my love gone?
Do you want to light my days?
Or have you had enough?
We have come such a long, long ways
To be giving it all up
Where has my love gone?"
