This is extremely fascinating. I'm not musically talented as far as putting together all of the pieces. But I am a poet. So it just kind of blows my mind watching him, not already having all the lyrics down. Like, I feel like my brain would insist on having that poem already written and basically done and THEN come at it from the opposite direction and find the melody that belongs to the lyrics instead of vice-versa. Watching his face light up when that killer lyric smacked him upside the head was amazing.

I found it to be, SO SO fascinating as well and absolutely loved it when you could literally see things starting to click for him lyrically or musically while working on the song. We both went to the same high school by the way. He's a few years younger than me but his sister Christianne who is featured his some of his songs, most notably "stupid deep" both graduated the same year together.
