Headed from TX to Phoenix AZ and landed at Lake Pleasant to fish with Geoff. We decided on a 1v1 just for fun. Fish were deep and finicky but it's always a good time fishing out there.
Currently uploading from a Lowe's parking lot in Vegas, we're on the way to Sand Hollow right now. Fishing here today, Novajo in NM tomorrow, then headed for Colorado.

I've been standing on 2 1/2 feet of ice to get my Haha's off until the ice breaks in another 2 or 3 months . We're landing some slabs ( jumbo perch ) , pickerel ( walleye ) and some freakin' huge pike but still it's not as rockin' as summer fishin' . Jeff's big swimbait would make an excellent muskie lure. Think of it d a jointed glidebait. Buy one!! lol That was some of the clearest water I've ever seen and we have some very clear water here. Makes for tough fishing in bright sun. I didn't know they had water in AZ! The only water I've ever seen there came out of a spigot or a bottle. lol Really enjoyed the opening travel log and across country footage. You mention how quickly the geography can change. Yeah, it's kind of amazing for eastern flat-lander's like us to see. When you get across part of Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, etc the geography can change dramatically in 20 miles, all depending on elevation. Nice to see James running the trolling motor today. It's the only way he's going to learn. Oh, at the end you mentioned that you guys met some of your subscribers. Why not put them in the video, if they're willing?

Lake pleasant can be tuff for sure, really have to dial in your spinning gear for that lake. Senkos drops shot Ned rigs are all good. Going to try a little swim bait and jerk bait tomorrow fingers crossed.

If you come out to San Diego, you will find the fishing to be much the same. Many reservoirs have very clear water, even on really bad days, its way over 3+ feet of clarity. And the fish seem to always be on their toes.... errr fins...

Come to northern Michigan for smallmouth. A lot of the lakes are that clear lol
