"No one can save me the damage is done." Truer words have never been spoken. I didn't actually come here to slag Jon, perhaps his voice will make a rebound? But, having heard the trajectory of it over the years - I honstly don't think that is likely. Jon is now in a similar situation as David Lee Roth, where they don't even seem to know where the molody of the song is. There is no shame in losing your voice as you age - just like athletes lose their ability. The shame is in going out there when your shouldn't anymore. Joe Namath doesn't try ro quarterback the Jets anymore. Singers who's voices are shot, should know enough to bow out.

He had covid which has impacted his breathing, and I think he has hearing damage - not uncommon for lead singers of his era - especially since he doesn't wear "in ears" he depends on old school floor monitors to hear himself and the band... @Lucas Levon Firstly it is very common for artists to listen to soundboard recordings of performances whilst on tour, in order to evaluate performances and remedy any issues that require attention. JBJ does not reside in a cocoon, has access to media, both social and otherwise. His vocal performance, or lack there of, is one of the big, if not the biggest stories in Rock n roll right now. Hard to imagine that he is ignorant of this. For me there is no doubt that he is aware all is not well. He and his band look on occasions embarrassed by this rubbish on the various YT clips of this tour. I cannot imagine that after the show they are high fiving with JBJ about the killer performance he is delivering. No body on stage is having any fun here. There is no wriggle room here. It is a shit show pure and simple. He knows it, the band knows it and all but the dedicated " he can do no wrong.....his smile still breaks a thousand 💔.....etc" fans know it. JBJ bank account wins and his legacy is screwed. Very sad, because he was brilliant back in the day. Sad to see what was one of the greats crumble in public like this. Sadder to think that he is doing this by choice.

@@sunsetcaptiva8573 Jon has always strained and pushed beyond his comfort zone, he first battled serious vocal fatigue back in 1987 to the point where they almost stopped doing live shows. When Paul McCartney was Jon’s age (60) he still sounded sublime! Now that Paul is 80 and his voice has been declining steadily for the past 10 years, I just can’t justify paying the high prices to see him. Tonight is the last night of his sold out U.S. tour. Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen appeared. (MetLife stadium in NJ)
