"No one can save me the damage is done." Truer words have never been spoken. I didn't actually come here to slag Jon, perhaps his voice will make a rebound? But, having heard the trajectory of it over the years - I honstly don't think that is likely. Jon is now in a similar situation as David Lee Roth, where they don't even seem to know where the molody of the song is. There is no shame in losing your voice as you age - just like athletes lose their ability. The shame is in going out there when your shouldn't anymore. Joe Namath doesn't try ro quarterback the Jets anymore. Singers who's voices are shot, should know enough to bow out.

its not that they dont where the melody is, its that they cant hit all the notes in the melody so they have to sing harmony notes instead which effectively changes the melody that we are used to. but in his case it seems he is struggling neurologically

It's weird because not only is his timing off, and he's not in key, but his phrasing has changed. His cadence has changed. It doesn't only seem like vocal cord damage, it seems like head trauma. Or perhaps the onset of a neurological disease. Very unfortunate that the Bon Jovi machine keeps going. I'm sure that dozens if not hundreds of lives would be financially impacted if the machine were to grind to a halt, but this is just wrong in every conceivable manner.

What truly astounds me is every person on that stage and many who were behind that stage heard these awful vocals for weeks in rehearsal. Nobody stopped this tour from happening and they banked the coin from fans who expected much better than this. I can only hope somebody has to give a public account for that decision because in my opinion, it’s unconscionable.

He never should have let Richie go. Richie could imitate John's voice almost perfectly and live, he would hit all of John's high notes. Now he has nothing to hide behind. A great sound engineer and a guitarist that was so much of a pro he would hide the singer's obvious flaws. That's what he had. What the hell was he thinking about switching personnel when they are propping up the illusion for you.

He had covid which has impacted his breathing, and I think he has hearing damage - not uncommon for lead singers of his era - especially since he doesn't wear "in ears" he depends on old school floor monitors to hear himself and the band... I think the pitch is part covid damage and part hearing issue, the hearing issue would also explain the timing... he seems to be chasing the lyrics being a full beat off.

@Lucas Levon Firstly it is very common for artists to listen to soundboard recordings of performances whilst on tour, in order to evaluate performances and remedy any issues that require attention. JBJ does not reside in a cocoon, has access to media, both social and otherwise. His vocal performance, or lack there of, is one of the big, if not the biggest stories in Rock n roll right now. Hard to imagine that he is ignorant of this. For me there is no doubt that he is aware all is not well. He and his band look on occasions embarrassed by this rubbish on the various YT clips of this tour. I cannot imagine that after the show they are high fiving with JBJ about the killer performance he is delivering. No body on stage is having any fun here. There is no wriggle room here. It is a shit show pure and simple. He knows it, the band knows it and all but the dedicated " he can do no wrong.....his smile still breaks a thousand 💔.....etc" fans know it. JBJ bank account wins and his legacy is screwed. Very sad, because he was brilliant back in the day. Sad to see what was one of the greats crumble in public like this. Sadder to think that he is doing this by choice.
