A very young Jon Bon Jovi, only 35 years old but already a rock n roll legend and world wide rock star! I was at this show, it was incredible! The whole crowd loved JBJ so much. He definately stole the whole show.

This showcases just how gifted JBJ is as a performer, especially during this time period. He is in an elite group of people who can own a space. Obviously, he's lost a bit of his fastball (or a lot?) of late but doesn't diminish what he's done. I actually think his acting foray helped his musical performances--he became a bit more of a showman in the late 90s and 00s (I"ve seen them live a bunch of times).

Jon is on fire the band is AMAZING. his vocal rendition here proves that the long and exausting tours along with cigars is what caused Jon's voice to fade away.
@lautaroferrandis552 жыл бұрын
He seems very well rested there, hitting those high notes perfectly fine, on perfect pitch too... i think he wasn't touring that year and neither in 98 (With BJ band). Ages of intense touring didn't do any well to Jon's voice, but the major problem came when Richie left the band... that was the real breaking point in his voice, and it's getting worse and worse.

I think that Jon allready at the time wanted som much to be a one man show, and Thats why he gives it all here…. It irritates me for a long time now that he just want it all… the HomePage of the band «Bon Jovi» shows just pics of Jon, not a fucking band. I guess he always wanted to be Bruce…be the main man. I kinda understand Richie…they could have been so fucking great still if it was not for both their big egoes! I love Jon, but at the same time I hate the guy.
