Good for u man! Everybody finds their own that helps them. I love Conners music. Another positive dude I listen to on them trying days is this guy Tommy Gunz, he's on Facebook & Reverbnation, not sure if he has a KZbin account. He too is from MICHIGAN now that I think bout it.

Dr Dre tried to sign him but he turned it down to be independent...he raps about it in his new album SOS 2022..Its the song " favorite song" ( may be titled something else). He moved to LA for 5 years but turned down the label and moved back to Flint..thats why the cover of the album has a UHAUL on the cover, about him moving back home..I dont know him I just listen to all his lyrics and he will tell you what happened..Actually I think the name of the song is " A Story to tell." You have probably heard ot but if you haven't you should check it out..most of his fans have probably heard it by now..at one point in time NAS co-signed him. Its on KZbin, just look up nas and Jon Connor..
@DwarfDt2 жыл бұрын
@@jrtimberland7402 I thought that Jon DID get signed by dre and in the years of being signed he done 1 feature on dres album and never brought anything out himself and while in la realised he wanted to actually be his own label and sign his own artists. He tells dre and he's completely fine with him splitting to do his own thing. Have I been wrong this whole time?

It's kind of sad when you sit here and realize what rap is becoming, now a days its all about beats and chorus, Jon Connor is honestly a beast, he raps so fluently and nobody understands how much of a good message he has in his music, anytime i'm at a party and play his music people listen and love it, it just proves he truly is amazing and he really has music for every type of people, he has the talent and beats that people really should start listening too, yet you have someone like Rick Ross who has the worst music out there and people love the guy, as well as many other rappers these rappers are all fake puppets controlled by the devil and then there's people like Jon Connor who actually has a real talent and put their hearts and soul into the words instead of time into beats. Rap Game Now < Jon Connor. Nuff said...

I'm sure u probably heard his version of Hova Mojo, but if not check it out, especially before the song itself even begins because they pretty much saying the same thing u saying. Talking bout the amount of rappers without talent, and how they getting away with a lack of talent because ppl are only buying into the beat, or the hook, or the couple minutes worth of song, but they aint buying into the artists themselves, ect... Not to mention the song bangs like every single Jon Connor track I've heard to date. Bluuuuue city club Youuuuu Knooooow!!!

Hard song dope asf...I'm originally from Flint,Michigan on that nutty north side jumped off the porch on Dayton Ave. in 91' I was 11 years old this is a little after M.c.Breed had came out and he had one of the hottest songs in the country on the billboards hot 100 his song "Ain't no future in yo' frontin" was number 66 charted that's pretty damn good especially back then he broke a mold for Michigan and for the entire Midwest for hip hop everybody back then wanted to do a song with Breed including artist from New York west coast and South...2PAC and M.c.Breed was close like brothers matter of fact Breed was the first major rapper to feature 2PAC on a song outside of Digital underground...I said all that to say this for Busta Rhymes to act like he didn't want to acknowledge that M.c.Breed came before Jon Connor is ridiculous that's very disrespectful if it was me he would have had to reword that part what he said at the end of this song...real shit💯
