Great figure Matt, actually gave the previous Paz to my younger cousin after I got this one. Jon Favreau head sculpt makes it ofc.

I've missed this! I saw your notification, then haven't followed through!! 😢😢 I'm all shorts and no long trousers Matt!! 😅 Top review and you are now making me want all bloody 5 of these "Heavies." It wouldn't even be 5 of them either, as I have the Credit Collection loose and I got him mint on card as well, due to the curio of it being the largest carded figure the BS has ever released, so I'll end up with 6 of the buggers!! I'm all about the history and "culture" of the line, me!! 😅

This figure will always have a special place for me as it was one of my first Black Series. Theyve done a phenomenal job with the head and face of Favreau. The rest of the figure is really well designed aswell although the mould might be a bit "older" as youve shown too. Therefore was great to see you reviewing this. I very much agree that the colors on the other version look much better with the wash. While it doesnt really bother me at all for now I still wish that if they will release him in the future again that theyll completely or partly retool him (without pins in legs) and a new accurate helmet together with adding a vibro knife and the shield for his arm as accessories (basically his BoBF/Mando S3 appearance).

It's always been a favorite of mine. The face on this one is well done. I also would love to see a "proper" re-release. Not a repack, but totally retooled. A knife would be awesome and I know they could make a translucent blue shield look amazing. We shall see... I appreciate you checking out the review! 👊

Thanks for the great review, 100% agree with all of it. This chunky boy is a great addition to any Black Series collection and if I was allowed to only pick 1 Paz Vizsla figure to buy it would definitely be the Favreau version, even though it lacks the weathering the other Pazzies have. I'm with you - even though this one lacks a dark wash, it's the one I would pick as well. It's a real shame Hasbro didn't didn't do anything different for the Mando release. A knife (that he could actually hold) or a shield... Nope, just a straight-up re-release. I appreciate you watching, Sander! Have a great weekend as well!
