Abstract: Are large language models coming for your job? To examine both sides of that argument, I wrote {robodeck}, an R package that uses the OpenAI API to auto-generate a quarto slide deck from as little as a title. See how it helped, where it failed miserably, and how I coerced it to work at least most of the time.
Bio: Jon is the Executive Director of the Data Science Learning Community (formerly the R4DS Online Learning Community), with a mission to provide tools and resources to foster a diverse, friendly, and inclusive community of data science learners and practitioners. Jon lives in Austin, Texas with his spouse, two children, and two large dogs.
