Jon Mclaughlin's brother, Jeff Mclaughlin (if I remember right), was my piano teacher back at my high school. One of the most kind hearted, patient, and skilled instructors I've ever had. He was also such a talented musician.

This song reminds me of me and my pregnancy. I'm only fifteen and I gave birth to twins that were born at 25 weeks of gestation on the 4th of Auggust this year, and sadly passed away, 3 hours after they were born. This Jon McLaughlin doesn't have AIDS. Nonetheless, why does it even matter if one has AIDS? People need to have compassion and empathy for others. No matter what medical condition, disease, cancer, etc. one has, it doesn't change the fact that one can have a beautiful and wonderful soul. Why judge or discriminate against people who have AIDS? Anyways, this "Beautiful Disaster" song is amazing and made tears well up in my eyes. Jon McLaughlin is a talented artist, and this song is truly a gift.
