Marred only by disappointing snide political comments about our new President, the program of Goodwin and Meacham was fascinating, brilliant and witty. It seems to me that empathy is precisely what got Trump elected, reaching out to a part of the electorate "intellectual aristocrats" totally ignore, that is Middle America.
