It was a heck of a match to that point and was building to a great finish when that happened. This is why we don't try this at home, kids. I hope Adam makes a full recovery, a concussion is not a very nice thing to live with and the AEW title will still be there when he is fit to return to the ring. I had a lot of trauma in my childhood. To describe it fully would distract from this thread. Hangman the persona is so genuine and real to me. His run to the championship inspired many who shared their mental health journeys. Many wanted to be better. It was inspiring. I got tired and decided to go to therapy. I couldn’t do it for myself. One reason was my niece. The other was Hangman. He’s my hero. Take your time and get better Cowboy. It may be a while but I await your return.

There's a reason that being a "safe worker" and being "safe in the ring" matters in wrestling. Exhibit A. For all of AEW's good points, the downside is that they have guys doing stupid things in the ring that make no sense from a psychology perspective and guys get hurt badly. I don't pretend to be an Adam Page or Jon Moxley superfan, but nobody wants to see someone get seriously injured doing their job.

It's really a shame, because this really was a great Dynamite before this happened, lots of great matches and segments Watching that landing back, the way he landed on his head is absolutely terrifying. And it's not even like one of them could have been more safe, it was just a freak accident on an incredibly routine spot, which is usually when the weirdest and worst injuries happen. Hoping Hangman recovers well. If he can wrestle again, he could have a SUPER hot comeback match against Moxley, and he can just be like "I wanted to keep fighting, the doctor stopped the match, so you never actually beat me!"

Trauma is certainly tough. This sport is one of the most dangerous for a reason. Adam Page broke down and as a result, everything now remains in question for him, he will return only when he is ready again, maybe he really turned out to be a boy for Mox. Jon Moxley held out on endurance and again a confident victory. It's a pity that the show ended like that, well, what can I do, it happens.

this was a great match. i loved that they neither of them held back and just put on a fight. it's a shame about the way it ended though. i really do hope hangman is OK. props to moxley for showing concern as well as referee paul turner for being the first to check on something. the fact that AEW takes the concussion protocol far more seriously than some in the NFL is an indication of where priorities lie. bad NFL. also props to the people of cincinatti for not just being classy people in cheering for hangman but also for tua weeks ago. concussions are no joke.
