Джон невероятен. Познакомился с Savatage десятилетия назад и тогда и сейчас не понимаю, неужели серьезные музыкальные критики не понимают что Джон - это и есть рок-музыка в чистом виде. Не говоря уже о том что такого уровня вокалистов в рок-музыке за всю историю можно пересчитать по пальцам. Уже сейчас о Джоне должны фильмы снимать и приглашать хэдлайнить на практически любом концерте - мы сами просто не осознаем уровень этого парня.

Oh my god... this performance is so tight, it makes me question my existence. The band and especially Jon sound absolutely incredible here, and he makes it look so easy. All the big metal voices from the 80's are showing,and sounding their age now, no-body sounds the exactly same...Bruce, Rob, Geoff, Axl,...but Jon's voice seems strangely unchanged. He's super charming nice if you ever get to meet him,very polite.

Saw them the first time in 83 POTN tour, Columbus Ohio. I play guitar, but Jon just drew me in.. After the show we drank a few beers together. Jon gave me the biggest compliment EVER!!! He said & I quote ( DUDE I THINK YOU KNOW THE WORDS BETTER THEN I DO ) I was in awe!!!!

I just got connected with a Savatage tribute band here in Fort Myers Florida...I have been a fan since 87 and couldn't believe someone who knew your band was interested around here in this...im thrilled. Hope it works out and you sound just as good as ever Jon...great music!

Unfortunately not since it seems to be the late great Matt LaPorte channelling marvelously Criss' guitar wizardry. It must be truly devastating for Jon to lose all three main musical partners. Criss, Matt and Paul, gone but not forgotten. Hope that Jon is O.K. There has been a total lack of any news of him.

Yeah, I know he did City Beneath the Surface with Obituary in 2016. It was at Florida Death Fest or something like that. Didn't know about the cruise though. But then around April the same year he suffered a stroke. He didn't say it was a really bad one but needed some rehabilitation though. And some radical changes in his lifestyle. From what I know he was working on a double record at the time(under the Oliva name I guess). But that's about it. Haven't really heard anything since. I truly hope he's doing better.

Because his brother, the guitarist for Savatage died in the early 90s. This isn't Savatage. I kind of wish they'd continued after Criss died but I get it also. I don't get why they aren't more legendary though.
