Hi my Lovely Lynda Our marriage-saving fridge (it really did!) is among my favourite things. So sad that it happened when it did - any Zen I had was lost. Sigh. I ended up cutting out the bit where I asked Ryan what scent I should wear for the evening, and he chose...FRISKY! :p So I smelled like a marshmallow.

Hi Lauren! How are you??? The follow up is probably never going to happen, so I'll tell you here: the fridge has a drawer in the middle strictly for cheese and dairy. Cheese and dairy (in the amounts my husband purchases and consumes them) are the catalyst for pretty much all of the (mild and ridiculous) altercations. With the drawer I don't have to see it. The end. :) Gratitude and annoyance. YES. That scent could be something like Minuit et Demi - I love it and appreciate it SO MUCH, but it pi$$es me off. A lot. For a few reasons. Julija, one of your videos popped up in "suggested", whilst I was going to see Chris's (Perfume Nest) newest, and I thought, "Hmm...she looks interesting!"... well, I'm so very glad I did - I'm now following you, and how fun you are! ❤❤❤ The first one I watched was where you're driving and talking about going *perfume-less* for a few days... 😜 I, too, have been feeling like I was going anosmic to everything I *love*, and as you said, it's probably directly related to my chronic over-spraying, as well! My oldest daughter is really sensitive to "worn" fragrance (odd, as she makes beautifully scented candles) - but she's quick to tell me, "Oh, Mom, too much!" - 😳 - so when she comes down for a few days, I go perfume-less... but I can't tell you how out-of-sorts I feel! I guess it does give my nose a break, but still... 😉 In 2019 I spent two weeks in Hawaii with her, and I knew I couldn't get through two weeks without fragrance, though, so I bought us Plumeria perfume oil (Mālie Organics) at the Botanical Gardens, and she was A-Okay with that - she loves Hawaii so much, she would have probably been fine with anything made there - but I digress... just so pleased to have found you and can't wait to go back through your other videos! I totally have a friend who can do scented candles and oils but not "worn" fragrance. Going perfume-less is a double-edged sword for sure. You could wear POO on your body, and if we were in Hawaii, I'd be FINE with that! :P. So nice to meet YOU! See you soon. (It must be lovely spring where you are. We just had a snow storm this week and it went down to -30 (C), which is -22F. Bbbbrrrrrrr! :)

@ScentSiblingsDotCA Oh my word, Julija! Brrrr!! 🥶 Yes, it was 80°( F) last week, but we had a "cold snap" again, which is typical when the saucer magnolias bloom, and it makes them so sad-looking! My younger daughter laughs that I used her for an "extra" perfume tester when she was small - we'd go to department stores to "sniff", back in the day! So nice to meet you - I'll be watching! 🥰

@ScentSiblingsDotCA Julija, *can you* smell your fragrance on yourself, though? (Do you detect it around you, I mean, not just if you sniff where you sprayed.) I thought maybe my sense of smell was lessening because I'm older - 66! 😜 - but thinking back, I think I pretty much always enjoyed the initial notes, then wasn't really aware of it unless someone complimented me or asked about it. If it's something I've sprayed on somewhere and don't like, now, I definitely detect that! Maybe this just didn't bother me much until I started paying more for perfumes, and now I want to smell them, darn it! If so, which ones can you smell? I'm a gourmand-y girl, for the most part. I've got to try that Kyse marshmallowy one! 🥰

FRESH CREAM **Cashmere** is much sweeter, a buttery, carmel. *The shower gel and the body lotion are beasts. You would love the scent. *SNOW ANGEL is another great pick from Philosophy. The PHILOSOPHY brand is sold on QVC, the home shopping network. I THINK they are in CANADA. Francine 🙋

I have smelled the Cashmere, and there was a coconut-type thing to my nose that made me prefer the plain Fresh Cream over it, but I know that when I sniff it again I'll love it. You're so right about the body lotion - it lasts and lasts. I love it so much! We have Philosophy available at Shoppers Drug Mart and Sephora. :)

It's actually a TRUE story. SPOILERS. Our fridge has a drawer JUST FOR CHEESE AND DAIRY. This means that I don't overreact when there's no room for anything else except the UTTERLY RIDICULOUS and IRRESPONSIBLE amounts of cheese that man buys and consumes! Now i don't have to bump into it, drop it, look at it or even know it's there. So no more "cheese fights," which, I'll have you know, used to be a thing. :p
