Genuinely the most insane, chaotic period of time in history. War in Ukraine, War in Palestine, Russian propaganda, MAGATs, Trump, SCOTUS, tense races, Venezuela, North Korea… man the list goes on and on. Something tells me that if this wasn’t a coordinate attack by dictatorship regime, it was definitely a domino-cascade effect that has led from one chaotic event to another-attempts to spread the U.S and NATO thin.

I've seen it happen, I've lost people I knew to post election violence. And as an outside observer looking in, Believe me when I say that Trump's rhetoric IS GOING TO GET PEOPLE KILLED! Even in my country, our politicians are not that brazen in their condemnation of the "others." Also, my country doesn't have anywhere close to as many firearms...

We all have to stop watching the news until they stop giving trump a path to power. Even those who call out his nonsense help him for their own sake. They all use covering him as a source of relevance. This man belongs somewhere under a prison yet is a candidate for president? How else do we get here without the media keeping him relevant throughout the entire Biden administration? None of his platform is based on reality yet we don't see that reflected in the media instead are questions for Harris to state her position on his none or minor issues. Nor is he called out with any weight for all the damage his nonsense has done in this campaign. He caused cities to receive bomb threats, slowed down recovery efforts from the hurricane and even left his own cultist stranded. Crickets when it comes to actual consequences for his actions.

Rather than implement policies that help people, the Democrats solely campaign on "we're not as terrible as a Republicans." Polling shows that their support for the terrorist Israeli state alone is causing swing states to be in question. For those who don't know, Israel is not just indiscriminately killing civilians - we now know that they are INTENTIONALLY targeting children, hospitals, refugee shelters, aid workers, etc. Palestinian civilians are being murdered by US weapons. Regardless of who wins the election, they'll back genocide - because the US is the world's leading exporter of terrorism, and it's not even close. In case there's any blue MAGA people reading this: "We're working tirelessly towards a ceasefire" was an outright lie. US Zionists in govt approved the bombing of UN aid trucks - and sent US military backup to the region to assist with genocide, while the IOF livestreamed war crimes on Tiktok. There's essentially no chance Kamala wins Pennsylvania and there's essentially no chance Kamala wins the presidency without winning Pennsylvania. Biden barely won what was essentially his home state in 2020 and as one of the most purple states, it'll be nearly impossible for the incumbent party to win in consecutive elections. She had the chance to choose a highly popular governor in Josh Shapiro as VP but was too scared that it would turn off Muslim Dems in Michigan. That decision will almost certainly cost her the election.

I’m American. I am cautiously optimistic that the “tied” race is anything but tied. I think that when the dust settles, it will be a landslide victory for Harris and hopefully a Blue Wave for the House and Senate. I wouldn’t complain if state governments also took to being a lot more Blue. We need power at that level to counteract decades of Republicans fixing state government in their favor using gerrymandering, and targeting Democrats for removal from the voting registration databases, providing Democratic voting precincts with inadequate numbers of the tabulating machines and other support. The list goes on. Republicans do not have to support popular policies because they are so entrenched that they can defy the wishes of the electorate. A huge example of this is the “debate” on abortion rights. In every state in the country, the voters favor the Roe v Wade decision by 2/3 and higher. It isn’t even close to being 50-50. But look at what Republican politicians do in every state where they have power - they ban abortion completely. They do not need to answer to the voters and that is how we ended up with absolutely buffoonish candidates and office holders. I hope it has reached the point where the voters decide to do something about this situation.

Did my bit. I requested a mail-in ballot and returned it to the elections office the day after it arrived. I'm actually going to be AT my local polling place all day as a poll worker (minority clerk), just recording the names of who voted; I heard that back in 2020 they were busy all day, so I might want to use any free moments to go to the bathroom rather than voting that day! And yes, I did vote "blue" all the way!

Australia feels the same way too (well except for a handful of nitwits). Trump is an incredible embarrassment and danger, not just to America, but to the whole democratic world.

Not only spineless, but in favor of it. Not one of them has denounced Project 2025, except the very few Republicans who split after their colleagues refused to impeach and remove Trump after January 6.
