I have yet to hear a bad Jon Wolfe song. This is what country music was supposed to be before Nashville shredded it.

My 2 cents? Too much a "rock" power-ballad, with a country singer. The talent's there, but not the SOUL of country. That's what people are longing for atm. And one thing Country music is all about? TIMING If you remade this song, tossed the electric guitar lead in, made it steel guitar instead, use a telecaster for the other leads & soften it, put in a Harmonic, (sparingly), & keyboard, lose the strings, and lose the "echo" effect on the vocal. If you're gonna call your album "Natural Man", look like George Strait's long lost, 20 yr younger brother? Then keep it Country. OLD Country. You see, just because something's old? Doesn't make it bad. "Tradition"? Isn't a dirty word. Imbeciles only claim it is, because they wish to destroy, what was great, so people will like THEIR ideas, better. And, well, their ideas, just ain't that great, if ya know what I mean. Now, what I say? The time is right, once again. This Country, is in desperate need of THIS country, once again. Remake this song. "Texas Girl" (ya, I know the actual title, thx), "Right Now" (ditto), Baby this & Baby that- AS IS. Sounds to me like you were born for "Old Country", and just don't really wanna accept that simple truth. Well, better to be remembered as old-time country Johnny Cash or George Strait, than to have great songs fade, for want of "New". Sometimes "Old"? Is good enough. Yes, you can make that a song. I did, for myself. And that's ok.
