Using only the piano and his voice, Jonah doesn’t need the words to feel that separation is an end to something he once had. Losing that connection or not being able to see that person everyday is in itself a detachment from being dependent on his partner. These days with vocal processing it can be hard to know when singers are good, but as someone who knows pretty well how much you can manipulate things like this, my opinion is he has to be quite a good singer. You can tune some mistakes, but it's hard to get that tonality with good pitch accuracy, and very good breath support overall and keep all of these considerations within certain parameters. Well done.
