Jonalyn Viray a.k.a JONA is one of the best singer in philippines. Ever since she won Pinoy Pop Super start 12 years ago We always watch her and kung gaano sya kagaling sya now is talaga inaral nya po un. She study at UST Conservatory of Music with a major in classical voice. The way she put emotion on her song and even how many songs the texture of her voice ay hindi nagbabago ganon sya kagaling. World class performer sya.

A classical voice crossing over the Gen Z era ❤ Her falsetto extends using headtone, not whistle. Extended headtone is much more superior than whistle. It requires much more force, buong head at chest mo coordinated. Jona in general is using masked resonance by nature. Almost all her techniques will require full force from her chest to head❤❤

O ha! Before niyo sabihing copycat ang PPOP pakinggan niyo ng maigi ang sinasabing OPM.. OPM is influenced by a mixture of Western Pop, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Ballad, Country, Rock, etc even artists way of writing and style of singing.. The best way to say is that they want to preserve the full band experience of OPM and the ballad love songs that we are used to hearing in OPM..

Jona doesn't do true whistle tones; hers is a super head voice. Mahirap ang whistle tone lalo n kung meron harmony and vibrato. Super head voice is falsetto as falsetto can be.... pero straight tone lang siya... Watch her duet with Mori sa kantang Emotions ni Mariah Carey to hear the difference... Peace po! ❤

@@patricktira22 kung madali lang, eh di sana majority can do whistle tones. And I am talking about whistle tones na meron harmony and vibrato with runs... Sa Pilipinas, si Mori, Elaine and Lani lang ang nakaka-navigate ng tune within a whistle tone.... All the rest cannot do riffs, runs and vibratos within their whistle tones. Kahit nga sa mga black R&B artists, bilib sila sa mga meron "true" whistle tone registers eh. And for the highest sustained chest belts, Soh Yang of South Korea already owns that so I guess anybody else would be second fiiddle. Just being honest about it po.
