How do I strip cables to get the copper as it’s so hard using a Stanley blade is there a tool out there cheap enough for me to do this I want to strip the whole cable knowing that it only cuts the plastic not the copper

The last position should be used not only for cutting of flat cables, but for the main purpose of stripping of outer sheet, no?. There should be a small gap between the two opposite blades on one side of the tool. Just don't feed the cable all the way through the tool, only until it reaches the opposite side.
