That's an expensive lure, I have one!! Around £12+. Well worth cleaning up! We visited there on holiday last summer and it was incredibly busy round there!! An eventful session but Qaulity fish Jon. Well done. My holiday around there together with yours and others videos has encouraged me to try match fishing again after not fishing one since the 70's so thanks. It certainly is a beautiful river, I saw a match at Evesham and other places too. It made a nice change as fishing down south is dominated by carp fishing.

Just had another two nights on theThames and a bloody Egyptian goose flew through the line and dragged the whole lot straight off the rests and into the river. I can assure you that stripping off and wading out to my never regions to retrieve my rod confirmed that the water was freezing. But on the plus side i did have a 6.14 chub on a prawn. This winter I've noted that areas with lots of human activity have been the best areas to fish. I've convinced myself that this is due to the huge numbers of cormorants about, which seem to be more bothered by the disturbance than the fish, and don't seem to like feeding in busy places?
@gee38832 жыл бұрын
Ive always found places where people feed the ducks to be great particularly in the winter, hence his bait choice.
