Super interested in what the sequel will be about, especially with Mark coming back to work with Rick. Always up for some Solangelo content, and excited to see what they get up to next. Super happy Walker isn’t in his Will solace outfit still (bc be fr he looked like Will) but still keeping him in something similar for familiarity.

I’m excited about the show news since I want to see the show improve and I want to see what they can do with Sea of Monsters. I’m excited to get another book, but I’m skeptical about just how many books Rick is going to add. He said no more big series after Tower of Nero so how many of these shorter series can be added before it starts hurting the narrative or the continuity. Quality consistency never lasts forever.

Definitely a very valid concern, I’d personally like to see other stores such as Magnus Chase expanded. As for the camp half blood story, I think we need one big finishing story and then leave it alone.

@@TheOlympusReport agreed, and I’m not saying it’s impossible to add as many books as Rick has. Terry Prachett wrote 41 Discworld books with wildly different stories and the quality as far as I can tell is decent to great. There are other examples, that’s just the one I know the most about. Tower of Nero also teased Chiron meeting with presumably representatives from the other mythologies so maybe we’ll get a crossover as the final event.

Love the news update format videos you do ❤ Sigh... I really hope Rick is gonna write a last series to truly finish the PJO universe in a hopeful note and not in the "Oh well nothing change but the heroes are back to a normal life". Like I pretty sure Heroes of Olympus was meant to be a Y.A story about changing the gods and having new heroes taking over Percy and Annabeth. And having Apollo trials cementing it and show how the demigods grow and wamt things to change and not just take peace for granted.
