*Phoenicians* were a strong race of sea fairing people who were there in that region according to historians lived and sailed from the area of Lebanon. They were merchants and travelled throughout the Mediterranean. I know we're now focused on the Philistines who now populate Gaza, however there has been conflicts and wars in the whole region since the beginning. I have a problem with the math. He's talking about the year of Jubilee which happens every 50 years. He starts with 1867, then 1917, then 1967, then 2017. So far so good. But then he mentions the Yom Kippur war in 1973 and recalibrates the 50-year Jubilee schedule and counts 50 years from 1973 which is not a Jubilee year. Am I missing something?

The Jewish people lived in a land called Judea. Expelled by the Romans 2000+ years ago, lost the temple, prophesied by Jesus ......Not a stone left standing..... Returned nearly 80-years-ago - changed the name Palestine to Israel and called themselves Israelis (The lost tribes that lived in Israel, called themselves Israelites ) The tribes that live in todays Israel is the tribe of Benjamin, the tribe of Judah and the tribe of Levi - the priestly tribe - the Cohens. In ancient times, The tribe of Benjamin was the tribe chosen to attack and conquer Jerusalem and make it GOD's holy place. God chose the tribe of Benjamin because their ancestor Benjamin had not taken part in the selling of his brother Joseph into slavery as all the other brothers including Judah and Levi had. What they did to Joseph greatly displeased God. So Benjamin was favoured to establish the Holy Place. However, the tribe of Benjamin failed to conquer Jerusalem but the inhabitants that they fought allowed them to live amongst them. The Tribe of Benjamin, was located to the north of the Tribe of Judah but to the south of the later Kingdom of Israel. After the brief period of the United Kingdom of Israel, Benjamin became part of the southern Kingdom of Judah and with it went Jerusalem. So, Jerusalem was never conquered and therefore, in my opinion, should be treated as a shared place. My boss was born in Jerusalem (Palestine) a few years before the Russian jews came and claimed the land and called it Israel.
