Yes and No. The entire World depends on The Law, if only the Noahide Laws. Personally, I also prefer the Jewish theological laws of ONE G-d, NO Idols, and no invocation of G-d for purposes of evil or idolatry. At heart, the Jews are a very peaceful people, and only display ferocity in defense of Home and Hearth. Arguably the most important concept/word in Judaism is Shalom/Peace. The less people must be ferocious in defense of peace, the better. But if I am not for myself, who will be? And if not now, when? Finally, they have and haven't been around for 6,000 years. Certainly, they've mad quite a splash over the past 3,000 years, which by itself is unparalleled and nothing to scoff at. Virtually all Western standards of Morality and Ethics are derived directly from Jewish Law, among other gifts from Judaism to Suffering Mankind, foremost among those gifts is the Sabbath.
