Jonathan if you by any chance read this just know that I and many others love your music for the (you) you put into it, it doesn't have to be sad or happy or anything in particular as long as your style is a part of it! Just keeping doing you and we'll be there whenever that is cheering you on! 🥰

@@StatusQuonald Agreed. Though I wonder where he's been for the past couple of years. I just rediscovered him (I was aware of him fro the Ze Frank days, but never really checked him out until now.) All of his great stuff seems to be from a decade ago. Did he stop making music?
@StatusQuonald3 жыл бұрын
@@andybaldman well no. 4 years ago he released a masterpiece album called 'Solid State' It's a must-listen for anybody, fan or not. Also he released an album with covers after that (not to my personal taste), and he toured in 2020. I expect he's working on new stuff. He always is. But I'm not that up to date myself 😅 But definitely listen to Solid state in its entirety! It's so worth it.
@andybaldman3 жыл бұрын
@@StatusQuonald Awesome, will do. I sorta 'just discovered him', even though I've known the name forever. So I'm working my way through the catalog. He's definitely done things his own way, and I applaud him for that. He seems to have found his audience, without needing mainstream backing, which is even better for him. Thanks again.
@Aresftfun11 жыл бұрын
I honestly think this sounds better than the studio version. Maybe it's just the change, though. The more soft singing. Gradual transitions. The noticeable vibrating with your left hand fingers, I think during that same point(s) in the studio version the same effect is accomplished by sliding.

I actually don't 100% prefer JoCo's solo songs over the more fully instrumented album versions....but this is one that IMO should have been the album track as it is SO much better than the original track. I'm Your Moon is another that sings live over the album track.
