It’s interesting that the Jonathan Coulton channel actually has comments turned off, anyway, anybody who has ever worked in a restaurant with customers who will not leave has an understanding of this song intimately. Or you could interpret it as a date that isn’t going very well....but I’m pretty damn sure it’s about an obese customer who will not leave.
