This segment took place between approximately 1:37pm and 2:00pm on Saturday, November 8, 2014.
We were approximately 18 hours and 37 minutes into the attempt, with the goal of reaching 48 hours total.
Note: Our first and only meeting was when he sat down on this couch, and his energy and enthusiasm and humour was completely refreshing and contagious right from the start. Our hearts go out to his family and friends for this tragic loss. His energy and light could have fuelled our full 48 hour attempt and more. Jonathan Crombie was amazing. Thank you for sharing even just part of him with the world.

I wondered did he ever come out before he died it certainly wouldn’t have changed my mind about him ,it angers me that people judge a person on their sexuality and think it should affect their profession,he was a phenomenal actor.

What kind of record were the hosts trying to break? Maybe a broadcast record? Interesting interview with Jon. I agree with the host, he was the William Shatner of "Star Trek", or the Richard Thomas of " The Waltons". Is Certs candy still on the market? Maybe in Canada it is.
