I love Jonathan Frakes, his enthusiasm for Star Trek is so endearing and wonderful. He loves the show and the movies. I could listen to him talk Trek all day. It's such a treat to hear him talk about the movie, the actors, and how much he really appreciated everyone who worked on the film.

Frakes is a true asset to Star Trek. He not only played one of the most iconic characters and directed both films and episodes but his enthusiasm for the franchise keeps the love for these older series alive to younger fans like me!

Greatest Trek movie ever made; could've been the same content with any other director and it wouldn't have come out half as well. Absolute artistic genius. And great tidbits in this commentary. Ok, I'll go do something else now.

frakes was " right " 8:06 the borg is futile . mm, sounds like my two cats that are trying to take over my mind while breaking any breakable objects in my home . (we are the kitty , feed us now ) this commentary has good sense of humour

You cant blame him because he should rightly be proud of First Contact. Personally I thought he did a pretty good job with Insurrection too though sadly some of choices were questionable in places and I don't think Frakes did a lot wrong by his own efforts. I'd say he'd have done a good job of Nemesis had he directed that one too because he knew how to get the best out of Stewart on the big screen.

Stewart has never done any commentaries for Star Trek and sadly I highly doubt he would do any in the future. It's not his thing. Still we can dream I suppose because yes, a commentary, or two, or four, by Sir Stewart, would be awesome.

This is missing the Sector 001 battle against the Borg Cube. Did you just cut it cause there was no commentary? I would've had to imagine Frakes would've had something to say about that spectacular sequence.

this doesn't sync up when you play it with the dvd, my disk does not have the commentary on it and they dont sync, should have uploaded the whole thing so we could just hit play and enjoy.
