Jonathan Jackson's 5 Daytime Emmy wins

Here are all 5 of Jonathan Jackson's daytime Emmy wins for his role as Lucky Spencer on General Hospital. During his time on General Hospital he was nominated a total of 9 times for the Daytime Emmy. He won his first 3 Emmys for best younger actor in 1995, 1998, and 1999. His 4th and 5th Emmy wins were for best supporting actor in 2011 and 2012. Jonathan Jackson originated the role of Lucky Spencer in 1993 at the age off 11. He played the role from 1993-1999 and again from 2009-2011.

I recently read the accolades that Michelle Pfeiffer gave of working together on a movie, several yrs ago. Jonathan played her oldest son. Michelle Pfeiffer commented as well, as it seemed so natural being a mom with a son that their chemistry was just there!!!!

I would love to see Jonathan Jackson back on screen as Lucky. I hate that they make him look like an absentee father. They don't even mention him or say that he spoke with the kids via video call. Lulu Spencer is missed too.

Jonathan played Lucky Spencer so GOOD 1. No other actor can play Lucky but him 2. There is no storyline left to tell for Lucky.

I also would love Julie Berman back as Lulu, but I don't think she wants to come back at this time. I'm not the biggest fan of Emme Rylan as Lulu, but I would take her over another recast which is what I think they are going to do.

I've said that before with Anthony Geary, or now Jonathan Jackson, win, they never acknowledge or thank Genie Francis in their thank you speeches, especially Anthony, who has always had a long and intense storyline with her. Does anyone know why this is?

Who knows, Jonathan did thank her in his speeches. When he won in 2011 and 2012 Genie wasn't on the show at the time so that's probably why he didn't thank her during those acceptance speeches.

The first time he won as a very young man, he was so overcome with emotion he simply pointed to Genie and Tony and said, “I want to thank them,” with his voice shaking. And perhaps you don’t remember that Genie wasn’t on as long as Jonathan and Tony were, so not every year he won was a year that Genie was in the cast at the time.

When Tony won his first Emmy in 1982 he thanked Genie and said half of it was hers so at least then he knew he wouldn't have won it without her

I know Jonathan has stated that he would not audition for roles that glorified certain behavior, but was not afraid to play characters whose beliefs were different from his own. Whether his beliefs have cost him roles who knows. But he seems very content with the choices he's made. He has a wife and 3 kids and a love for God that probably mean more to him than any movie role. Did you know he lives in Ireland now? I would love to see him back on GH to have more scenes with Genie Francis. Because when he returned for a few episodes in 2015, he didn't have any scenes with just Genie and him after 16 years of not sharing the screen together.

@@ellyreginald6546 I'm not too sure. I have read that he moved to Ireland to help support a new monastery being founded by the Romanian Orthodox Metropolis of Southern and Western Europe. So I don't know if he's going to live there permanently or not. Plus he's always loved visiting Ireland. I've also seen an interview with him recently where he stated he's open to returning to General Hospital.
