Bernice King, the daughter of Coretta said to not use her mother as a prop. I feel like she has a right to say that because Johnathan is a clown. Why are you subjecting the girl to a standard of a Civil rights leader when you (Johnathan Majors) are nothing close to MLK Jr. Sounds a bit narcissistic to me.
@kingsbury52595 ай бұрын
Exactly, her not wanting her mom's name to be invoked in this situation by someone like Jonathan Majors is completely reasonable.

I think he was subjecting a girl to the standard of a woman with class. It takes someone to have brains to understand that though. What he said had nothing to do with race, and the only ones using her as a prop are the ones choosing to over focus on it.
@dd1233875 ай бұрын
@@DLovWife he could've said for Grace to HAVE GRACE and CLASS. you need to have brains to understand that Jonathan Majors is not comparable to MLK or OBAMA... ESPECIALLY since his anger issues have well documented for most of his life; HE EVEN SAID SO.
@moniquecastelo5 ай бұрын
he should've just said that lady needs to hold him down like Hillary Clinton held Bill Clinton all the way DOWN after that incident 😂

As a black man who’s dated outside my race, that Coretta comment was the exact reason i could never defend him because it showed how delusional he was in terms of how he viewed himself in comparison to MLK or Obama which is insane enough on top of the fact that he said that to a white woman of all people. He could’ve just said you need to get your shit together if you’re gonna be seen with me but chose the most self absorbed, delusional, and condescending way to say it. This interview, those texts and that phone call honestly made him look way worse tbh.
@DLovWife5 ай бұрын
Yes, so you are fine with him getting railroaded because you don’t agree with his view point. Disgusting.
@adabouazo64515 ай бұрын
@@DLovWife Facts !!! I don't understand how Jonathan taking Barack Obama and MLK as EXAMPLE and INSPIRATION for himself, is seen as him comparing himself to them. Like, did we listen to the same audio ? Plus, Michelle Obama and Coretta are example for women, not just in the black community, but in other races too. Reducing them to only one race is insulting.
@devinjohnson57594 ай бұрын
@@adabouazo6451 why is it accepting to actively compare your partner to the wives of black civil rights leaders? It's corny. Plus, those women had to go through much hardship because of the lives their husbands lived. Michelle had to raise the kids basically on her own and Coretta had to deal with MLK cheating and him being away from home. Stop idealizing people without understanding the nuance of their lives.

Crazy how dumb most of y’all are calling him a abuser💀 when there is footage of him running from his abuser and the bruises were stated to be accidental injuries from him putting her back in the car. Further proving my point it’s hard to be a man. U can get lied on about anything from a woman and then have proof you’re innocent but there will still be a lot of people who believe otherwise just because SHE said so.
