The documentary was very good. When they interviewed the lead detective it showed how they indeed didn’t investigate properly.

This entire case has the markings of manipulation by the deep state. Shama and Ralph McCarty are so sketchy; he is a lawn maintenance guy, while she has a daycare in their home, with at least one other employee working there. Teens being able to enter the home at any time and hang out there? Despite Shama's denial, there is no way there weren't other signs of child sex abuse in that home; and Jonathan could easily have been a victim. And, Jonathan had been arrested 16+ times, and was represented (apparently) by lawyers hired by his parents. She was also a booster who contributed largely to the football program; and it was Shama who directed Rosa Kelley to use Patricia Cummings for his defense attorney . When Jonathan was finally charged with sexual assault, and despite the DA knowing there were other allegations of sex abuse/assault, he plead to lesser charges, was out of jail in two years, and did not have to register as an offender. That last part especially screams he is being protected by those controlling local government; especially when you consider that Chris Dailey failed to even interview everyone at the McCarty household, parents of other children in the daycare, etc., and moved right away to charge Kelley and manufacture evidence against him. Patricia Cummings was corrupt, outwardly supporting better legislation to help the wrongfully accused achieve their freedom faster; but working with the state prosecutor's office to prevent Kelley from being declared innocent, undermining his case by lying on affidavits and in her amicus brief; and in the appeal, she and Dailey were both cleared of wrongdoing by 2 judges; while the rest offered no opinion. Want to bet it was the same two judges each time? For Cummings cooperation, she was rewarded by being appointed the Director of Conviction Integrity Unit in Philadelphia. The Texas Ranger who manufactured false claims in the warrants, and lied under oath about Kelley should have also faced charges. And, it appears Janna Duty was following the orders she was given, just like Dailey, Mannix, Cummings, Dick, etc., so her suicide was awfully convenient. We need another series looking into who was actually in control of the whole thing; and the backgrounds of all of those involved.

Why wasn’t Jonathan at least arrested for having inappropriate pictures of children on his phone? That is a felony. After watching the documentary, we think maybe the Shama lady got Greg to live there because Greg looked like her son and she needed a scapegoat for what her son was doing. Cummings was her friend and refused to look into Jonathan. Jonathan’s mom was the director also. Was she investigated? If not, why not? Where was she or the day care worker when allegedly the kids were alone for hours with teen boys? Why wasn’t the daycare and all who lived in the house investigated? We are so glad you were exonerated Greg! We are also sickened that Jonathan was not arrested and tried for the crimes against these children. These officials should all be accountable for his future victims.

@allthingsabbey4 жыл бұрын
It’s not justified at all. An innocent man got 25-life and registration, but a known rapist and child pornography watcher who had 1000s pictures of children naked on his phone who tries to say it was his nephew...got no registration. Let’s face it we all know it was Johnathan who did this to these little boys. There’s more than enough evidence there, but the evidence was used on the wrong person and now for it to ever be brought back and tried new evidence would need to be brought in, I can’t see that happening 7 years on as they used all the new bits to get GK out.

Thinking about how "proactively" he asserted he had zero affiliation with the SpongeBob pants when that info was never talked about like Greg's attorney attested to. Also, what is with ranger Mitchell? He was amazing on the stand and then that warrant business?? I was extra disappointed bc I was finding him SO adorable! Oh! And wtf was up with

Too many lives have been ruined by the junk science of young children's recall. We can respect children and find methods to determine a genuine case of abuse by training professionals. And investigating the home environment is critical. Is the child in a home where inappropriate materials are viewed? There are so many problems with this story. Bless you both and best wishes for your bright future. Maybe law? People like to talk to Greg. I think that Marine went on about himself, and Greg just politely nodded along, focused on his workouts. Since the police never bothered to collect any evidence for who was at the McCarty residence, Dailey never went to the home ever, and neither of the victims ever described what "Greg" looked like, I would like to know who the 3rd suspect was. Could it have been Jonathan's sketchy father, Ralph McCarty? It is highly probably that whether Jonathan molested the boy or not, he was also likely a victim of abuse himself. We also know from the text Greg received from his brother warning him not to come to the McCarty's when the first case was reported, that he had also been in that home at some point socially, just like many other teens.

The children did all the children was asked of them. I personally believe as they looked alike when the offence happened the boy perhaps asked who it was and Johnathan said Greg and that’s what stuck. I think personally that even if he was shown pictures of the two men separately that he would have probably chosen both thinking they were the same. But if the police did show him, they would have done it with Greg only and they would have had it confirmed then and Greg probably wouldn’t have walked the free man he is.
