I love the description of submission. That's sooo good. I shrink and allow God in the person of The "Holy" spirit in me to take over. That's how I manifest Holiness. Light bulb moment.

Hmm... Though my comment is coming months after (coz I recently just subscribed), this description of holiness is deep. It reminds us that we don't start holiness before becoming Christians. Instead, we transform into holiness, it is the end result! Thanks so much for this, God bless.

Praise God, it’s sanctification. When I stumbled across ‘make room’ paying close attention to not just that gripping melody but the sound biblical message, I thanked God for young men and women who were not afraid to use their God given platforms to praise God! So I’m praying for you Jonathan that God will continue to keep you grounded, increasing your faith and allowing the Holy Spirit to live in you. My 8 year old loves your ministry (so do I) and yes, we’re SDA.

You gotta be born again Acts 2:38 filled with the Holy Spirit to live Holy, you can't live Holy without first turning from sin to Christ humbling ourselves before JESUS and asking for his Holy Spirit then with God all things are possible, with him in us.

Fun fact. My son is kind of a cool nerd. We tend to share corny riddles and just random things occasionally. I've always had a problem with the phrase "I can't just have my cake and eat it too". Because, if I have my cake, Imma eat it. Lol My son, who is aspiring to become an A and R (not for the Lord, though) found an old song and the lyrics sang 'I can't just have my KATE and EDITH' too. Lol So now everytime I listen to Black and White I want to tell you the original phrase, which makes TOTAL sense now. (Sorry, that was random.) Now to the subject at hand, holiness is a mindset. Once we realize that Christendom is understanding that our goal is to give up our ideas of how our life's should look for what God has had in mind then holiness can "set in". It's a process. It hurts. And I personally found myself upset with God. But because His ways our not our ways, becoming disappointed with Him is inevitable. However, choosing Him even in our disappointments grow us up in that mindset of holiness.

Jonathan, God said be holy "FOR I AM HOLY." " As" I am holy indicates a degree of holiness. Many of us tend to quote that wrong. There is no degree of holiness with God. He completely, totally and absolutely holy. Please saints of God we must quote the Word of God accurately. I was taught this several years ago, He made that very clear--accuracy and integrity of His word. It's very important
