I haven't seen this in years - since it was on TV in fact. Its so great to see it again, particularly as I have been unable to get hold of it on DVD. Meades' humour is so dry - he's really cutting.

3:42 so how would they have filmed that shot in 1997? Surely not helicopter?

No other way apart from helicopter would have been available at the time. Obviously the footage has been sped up, it wouldn't really have travelled that fast.
