They are so genuine, many people are too concerned with how other people will interpret and judge them to be able to keep it 100% real like this. I bought a Jonathan mess book from a book shop in the UK that is all in German so I just look at the pictures and enjoy them and now enjoy the artist even more after this interview. I'm glad they continue to be successful and is super cool that they work together like that.

Thank you so much for this remarkable interview. This is the best interview of him I have seen yet. Absolutely fantastic. The message is so clear and demanding. But humanity is probably not ready for it yet. No matter how this message is presented, it could be spoken softly, loud, aggressively, funky, artistic, funny, in any way and people will not quite understand it. I tried in my own way to bring this important message across to the world in my 5 view videos. But I don't think it gets really understood. This is the message: Undo the worshipping of iconic figures completely. Stop idolizing. Stop putting yourselves underneath someone else. Start making, start creating, start producing things that are fun, beneficial to the world, empowering. Make art. It really does not matter whether someone else likes it. Look at the drummer Lars from Metallica for example. Lars just went for it. He began to paint and his art is very similar to Jonathan Meese's. Lots of stick figures, paint squirting, lots of colors, just going for it. No hesitation at all. What do you think his paintings cost? 5 Million Dollars at Christies. This is just an example. But don't do the art to hit the jackpot like Jonathan or Lars. Do this for yourself!!! Do nothing in order to elicit anything. This is so difficult for humans to understand. Do this in your garage and don't show it to anyone. Do art to please your senses. Not to elicit things. Lart pour lart. Is what they have always said my whole life. Art for Art only. Produce art for the purpose of art. Art rules. Make things. It could be boots. Anything. But make it from your own wishes that are totally free from commerce, peer pressure, religion, icons, society.

But I now understand that personal hygiene and the idea that we need to shower on a regular basis is an ideology that our society has a strong relationship with. It is not an absolute necessity (for the most part) but most people’s relationship with showering is so strong that they’re practically married to it.
