Jonathan “Sugarfoot” Moffett has recorded and/or toured with some of the greatest pop artists of our time, including Elton John, Janet Jackson, The Jacksons, Quincy Jones, Diana Ross, Cameo, Lionel Richie, George Michael, Kenny G, Doug Miller, Peter Cetera, Bill Meyers, and Cirque du Soleil, besides guest appearing at popular television shows like The Tonight Show, Good Morning America, Saturday Night Live, and The Arsenio Hall Show.

Can't explain how impactful and inspiring Sugarfoot has been to my love of music. He is perhaps my single biggest influence on drums. After learning jazz drumming at age 10 in 1980, I eventually lifted my snare high to make my kit more accessible. His timing, crash grabs, bass groove, hi-hat drop delays... all nuggets I found in his style that made me better. I'm 49 today and can't really explain how important SF has been to me.
