The funniest and saddest thing might be that, DEN had two shots at the tittle, and blew one of them becuase they lacked motivation...teams are getting better all around us

I knew OKC would level up this offseason; they’re likely not done yet either w all their picks. If Denver just runs it back w the same starting 5 then it’s all over; it won’t be good enough. Getting bare minimum salary vets & a couple rookies won’t be good enough. Does Booth have the guts to get this team better? I’m telling you, tough decisions like trading MPJ need to be made. You could potentially get a bag for him when you think about lopsided trades like this Caruso trade.

Watch OKC get Markkanen too. Other teams get better while denver gets worse. Booth needs to step it up

@@RS-ol8orUtah is in rebuild mode, and OKC has like a dozen first round picks that they won’t need. I wouldn’t rule it out.

I’m with Vogt on Jaylen Wells if he can be obtained in the 2nd round (or the undrafted FA market if he doesn’t get picked, ala Sam Hauser, Duncan Robinson, Max Strus, Fred VV etc.). The Nuggets badly need to add shooting to their pipeline. Strawther is a big question mark (I’m quite skeptical) as a “shooter” as he takes a lot but doesn’t actually make a lot. He only shot better than 36.5% from 3 in one of his three years in college, his FT shooting in three years of college was 74.5%, and his shooting form is funky. Strawther is no lock to even be a regular rotation level NBA player.

I am so worried about the Nuggets... they traditionally don't get things done that really move the needle. They kick ass at getting mediocre.

I think Wind is way off on Giddey. 21 year old who averaged 12, 5 and 5 on the number 1 team in the west. Giddey is a good player, this could end up being a mistake for OKC.

The Thunder got better bc Giddey wasn’t a good fit and Caruso great defender (+ IQ), but acting like it’s a highway robbery is prisoner of the moment. Giddey was recent 6th pick who from 19-21 yrs old had averaged 14, 7, 6, 1.3 stocks in only 28.9 mpg. Zeke Reggie Jackson and 28th pick in horrific draft is way worse offer then Giddey. Ppl have him at 19 hooking up with 16 yr old and not a fit on OKC and forget at 20 yrs old he averaged 17 8 6 48% FG%. He’s also 9-10 yrs younger than Caruso. PS no clue how good or bad JJ will be (no one does), but how did you leave out Steve Kerr as recent precedent? Pat Riley same thing. I do agree Lakers since 2012-13 when HOF Dr Buss died on the whole outside of LeBron choosing them and AD trade (gave up more then they had to since he wanted out with 1 yr left) have been an absolute dumpster 🔥 Also stop blaming LeBron for these moves like JJ. LeBron wanted Ty Lue, they said no, he wanted Caruso back they said no, he wanted DeRozan before Westbrook they said no, he wanted Kyrie they said no. All 4 of those were bc they lowballed on money/yrs. I’m sure LeBron also didn’t want to give away Zubac & Brooke Lopez for nothing. LeBron definitely deserves blame for choosing a disaster to go to (post Dr Buss Lakers) in 2018 (should have gone to Nuggets, Bucks, Celtics, Clippers, Spurs, damn near anyone!), but acting like he is LeGM is so corny/casual when so much evidence (4 examples I mentioned above) they didn’t do what he wanted team to do.

Holmes would be nice but he will not be there…or any of the top 5 centers probably. Im thinking tristen newton is undervalued because of his age but would be a good addition since the suits wont trade MPJ.

Mark my words Jamal will not play in Olimpics he has 2 big of an ego to not be in the first lineup. Second next year Jamal will be worse not better. Third Jokic will w8st one more year of his prime but this time without KCP he will be out in the first round of playoffs. Forth if Jokic dont leave this player development organization he will not win another ring ever again.

Serbian fans are great but they sure aren't Nuggets fans. They'd hate to hear it but they're your typical NBA player-fan with no allegiances. Jokic doesn't want to have a LeBron or KD arc, selling his soul for titles.

I like Mogbo as a small ball center prospect. He reminds me of a young, more raw Draymond Green. I like the “juice” he brings and he seems comfortable playing at high speed, a big factor in evaluating whether a guy can transition to the NBA.
