It seems to me that more IDF were lost by far than any hostages that could be saved, especially if they are alive. This also complicated the entire war and goals significantly. The pain of the families is understandable; but the affect on operations is not.

This happened because the IDF released the reserves too soon. The reserves should be mopping up and maintaining control while the main forces push ahead. That is just basic warfare. It makes no sense that this was done. It is like the high command is trying to fail in the mission.

The detriment to Yisrael is that the Israeli CITIZENS choose human rights above Torah instruction, therefore choosing to conform to be acceptable to goyim and their rules rather than to YHWH's WORD. The Creator chose Avraham and the seed of Yakob received the promise, but the "SEED" still need to choose the "BRIT" that YHWH offered their forefathers in the desert through Mosheh. Just as their forefarthers had to choose and say "yes" we will obey. Do they know what "Shamah" means? Hear and do. When one hear, understand and take action, obey, live by every WORD given by YHWH. Every morning anew.
