What they don't realize is; Jesus was there to minister to them and teach them the word of God. Jonathan Roumie went on The View to promote his series "The Chosen", and to talk about his success as an actor, not to minister to the ladies of The View about how Christ died for our sins.

No one is realizing that there isnt one person alive that has ever played Jesus Christ this long, and getting this close to Jesus, and what Jonathan has had to go through emotionally he must feel so isolated and alone not being able to get anyone to understand what he is going through!! I have the opposite thought. I think it's a false Christ being put up and a counterfeit Christ Jesus to deceive the masses. Johnathan may not understand that, but he has taught it's ok to pray to dead people and other things not in the Holy Scriptures. The real Jesus said that false christs would appear and deceive many . The apostle Paul said that a great dillusion would be sent and people would believe the antichrist was Christ himself. Nobody lived in pure love but the real Jesus the lord of Glory . Nobody. Read mathiew 24, read the apostles writings and do a study on false prophets, false christs in the scriptures. It will shake you free from this deception .

Hence Christ said the tax collectors and the prostitutes who acknowledge their sin would enter into the kingdom before the Pharisees who think they have no sin and are saved by their own works. And as to who gave the authority, Christ did for every believer to go into all the nations, and point to Him and His Word. Also, Christ said that any who say they have no sin deceive themselves and Calls God a liar. He also said that he is continually cleaning us up daily. I know where I started in the ignorant rebellion of my youth if he piled all that on me at once, I probably would’ve taken my own life like Judas. imho, the scene where Gaius embraces Jesus, best portrays Jesus as vulnerable man of God on earth. Gaius knows of the forthcoming persecution Jesus is about to endure! His compassion for Jesus, and Jesus' reaction are so emotional. No words were spoken, the world was about to be changed!

I would have to say, as one participating being drawn into the story, falling deeply in love with Yeshua - Jonathan Roumie is the one! His acting through his eyes alone, tells the story of Yeshua’s life and love ❤for us - his children! Jonathan Roumie is very grounded in his faith and spiritually sound, I can understand why the interviews with him encompass emotion and real life questions of everyone’s spirituality. We have a priest who stays with us a few months out of the year, as he likes to get away from the hustle and bustle of the City and come close to the stillness of the waters and small town. He has told me time and time again that Roumie plays the part VERY WELL and the entire production of “The Chosen” is accurate. So accurate that Jenkins manages to capture the very subtle things written in the gospel that are not usually picked up on the first read but only when you go back, re read and examine. I’m so glad, THE CHOSEN has received good reviews in the public eye. The world needs this now. Peace to everyone.

To answer the question that Jonathan was ask about playing Jesus, I think he has done a beautiful job, I can't think of any person to be him other than Jonathan. Jonathan has helped me get closer to God and Jesus more than anyone has, and I am so grateful to him, for allowing God to use him, as a vessel to get the word out there for people to receive the messages that they need to hear.
